Tips and tricks for setting up your challenges
This blog will be developed over time to provide some tips and tricks for setting up your video challenges using clickLearner. The first part focuses on filming.
Filming and Editing
It sounds scary, filming.... at least it did to me. I have only had dalliances with the movie mode on a camera but in actual fact, I have taken some pretty good home movies of my daughter – particularly the one of her chasing some ducks!
So if like me, you have no previous experience with filming, here are a few things to consider:
- You do not have to have expensive fancy equipment.
- It is the content and the context of the film that is important.
- A “Blair Witch Project” or documentary style is fine! In other words shaky is not too much of a problem.
- Plan how you want your end result to look before you start filming.
- Take lots of shots and different angles. Editing out is much easier than going back for more.
